We offer a wide variety of presentations, workshops, and consultation services that address topics such as: improving academic performance, increasing happiness and resilience and resolving conflict.

We frequently collaborate with student groups, academic departments, residence life and other organizations on campus to engage in discussions about important mental health topics.

Drop-In Workshops

Regular recurring workshops are available on a variety of topics that can be accessed via Zoom or in-person as designated. These workshops are facilitated by our clinical staff or by RENEW students trained to provide mental health education. 

Our Drop-in Workshops will alternate topics on Tuesdays at 3:00pm on Zoom. See below for a description of each topic.

Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that gives people the skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The evidence behind the program demonstrates that it does build mental health literacy, helping the public identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness.

Mindfulness (Studio and Meditation)

Mindful Meditation discusses the benefits and importance of meditation and how to incorporate it into your life. Mindful Studio consists of brief activities designed to refresh, enlighten, build insight and open your mind to the gifts of the present moment.

Resilient Mind

Resilient Mind is a workshop series comprised of topics focusing on happiness and resilience. These courses provide students with information and skills to help manage emotions and increase resiliency. Topics include resilience, exercise/staying active, mindful eating, discovering your signature strengths, humor and play and gratitude attitude.

Regulating Through Resources

 
Are you experiencing increased stress or having trouble managing your reactions to distressing event(s)? If so this workshop is for you! You will learn about the differences between stress and trauma, the ways that our brain and bodies respond, and skills for managing these responses. **Please have a sheet of blank paper and something to write/draw with available to you.**
