Nikki received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kentucky in 1984. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she serves as the chair of the Doctoral Research Seminar and UCC Research Team. Nikki is active in regional and national professional organizations and is a member of the Florida Psychological Association, Southeastern Psychological Association and American Psychological Association. She also serves as a member of the Tallahassee Community Crisis Response Team and the Red Cross Mental Health Disaster Team. Nikki's approach to therapy and supervision is eclectic, integrating systems, cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic orientations. Her professional interests include loss and bereavement, trauma, eating disorders, developmental concerns and multicultural issues.
